Purpose of establishment
TECH EXTENSION was established to return to society the research results of the WOW Alliance, an industry-academia collaboration project promoted by the Ohba Laboratory, Heterogeneous and Functional Integration, Institute of Innovative Research (IIR), Science Tokyo.
In the WOW Alliance, many companies, universities, and research institutes with related technologies, such as semiconductor device manufacturers, equipment manufacturers, and material manufacturers, bring their own technologies to carry out research. In addition to semiconductor technology, various research related to biotechnology and agriculture is underway within the alliance.
TECH EXTENSION aims to connect the cutting-edge technology of the alliance members to business across various fields.
